Does it feel like you are spinning your wheels with content? Staying consistent can be really hard if you do not have a good strategy in place. Today, I want to talk about a strategy that is really on the rise. I am sharing with you three benefits of repurposing content.
Repurposing content can help you stay consistent with sharing your value during the times content creation seems hard. It can seem hard to create when we can have so many ideas that we don’t know where to really start. Then, at other times, we experience content blocks, meaning it’s hard to even come up with something new to share.
Creating different types of content can take up a lot of time. When we aren’t using our time wisely, it can have business owners leaving money on the table.
For example: Let’s say you are a business coach and you are spending four hours every day on content. If you are charging your clients $200 for a coaching call, you are leaving $800 each day. That would be $4000 if you add that up at five days a week.
Don’t let your money sit on the table. Here are some ways you can repurpose the content you already have:
- Video content – turn it into a blog or take chunks for social media posts
- Blogs – create a video or chunk it up for social media posts
- Collection of a social media post series – turn it into a blog, a video, or an e-book
The last benefit I am sharing is how repurposing content can increase your visibility when you take one piece of content like a video and turn it into a blog and social media posts. Not everyone you want to reach is in the same place and repurposed content opens the door for you to be able to meet your target audience where they are.
Let's Review the Benefits
- Keeps us consistent with sharing content
- Saves time on creation
- Increases visibility
As you can see, repurposing content can be a very helpful part of your content strategy. If you would like to get more ideas for repurposing content, download my Repurposing Your Content Suggestion Box by clicking here.
