A few weeks ago, I shared with you The Ingredients for Content Creation, and today we are going to talk about two more ingredients, where and how.
Where Does Your Audience Like to Hang Out?
So, you’ve got your topic and are ready to start working on your content. Have you considered where your audience likes to hang out? Not everyone in your audience will be in the same place.
Some are looking for blogs, some are on social media looking through posts, and some are looking for videos. If you are looking to increase your visibility, you might want to consider creating content around the same topic for different areas.
How Does Your Audience Consume Information?
Even though someone might be on a social media platform, scrolling through posts, doesn’t necessarily mean they consume information that way.
I’m going to use myself as an example.
I love to learn, and while I like reading, I would much rather learn by watching a video or listening to audio. I never search social media for what I need, unless I’m doing market research, although, I am sure some do.
I am normally searching on Google or YouTube.
So, these two parts of content, where and how is something worth considering. Did you catch my live webinar, Conquer Your content Wheel – Stop It From Spinning Endlessly Through Repurposing?
I went over the five ingredients for content creation and how repurposing content is an essential part of your plan. If you didn’t catch it live, that is quite alright. There is a recorded version that is available, you can Click Here to watch it.
